How to Get More Bees in Bee Swarm Simulator
Every way to expand your hive in BSS: hive slots, eggs, royal jelly, events, and ticket bees. Costs and priority order.
How to Get More Bees in Bee Swarm Simulator
Your hive cap is 50 bees, but you must unlock slots gradually. Here are all ways to add bees.
1. Buy Hive Slots (Required)
- Each slot costs exponentially more honey.
- Buy from the Hive Slot shop near your hive.
- Use our Hive Slot Calculator to plan costs for slots 26–50.
Milestones:
- 10 bees → Science Bear
- 15 bees → Polar / Panda Bear
- 25 bees → Translator quests
- 20 bees + badges → Trading unlocked
- 35 bees → Wind Shrine / Coconut & Pepper fields
- 50 bees → Max hive
2. Hatch Eggs
- Basic Egg — 1,000 honey (Common–Rare bees)
- Silver Egg — 50 tickets (Rare–Epic bees)
- Gold Egg — 100 tickets (Epic–Legendary bees)
- Diamond Egg — 500 tickets (Legendary–Mythic bees)
3. Royal Jelly
- Buy from the Royal Jelly shop or get from quests.
- Random bee of any obtainable rarity.
- 1/12,000 gifted chance for basic bees — never rely on this for event bees.
4. Ticket Tent & Special Event Bees
- Tabby Bee — 500 Tickets at Ticket Tent (Tabby quest required)
- Photon Bee — 500 Tickets at Ticket Tent
- Vicious Bee — 500 Tickets at Ticket Tent
- Cobalt / Crimson Bee — 500 Tickets each at Ticket Tent
- Digital Bee — Robo Bear's Shop, not Ticket Tent (see Digital Bee guide)
5. Quest & Code Rewards
- Black Bear Quest 70: Gifted Silver Egg
- Spirit Bear: long questline rewards
- Promo codes: Marshmallow Bee, eggs, tickets
Priority Order (2026)
- Slots to 15 → unlock bears
- Tabby + Photon (tickets)
- Slots to 25–35
- Mythics from Mythic Eggs (boss drops)
- Slots to 50 endgame
