Early Game Progression Guide (2026)

This guide covers your first hours in Bee Swarm Simulator — from 0 to 25 bees — including the best early game hive setup.

Phase 1: First 10 Bees (0–2 hours)

1. Follow Black Bear quests — they teach mechanics and give free honey.
2. Buy hive slots whenever you can afford them (cheap early on).
3. Hatch Basic and Silver eggs; don't save honey for expensive slots yet.
4. Get the Glider (5M honey) for mobility as soon as Black Bear recommends it.

Early hive tip: Any mix of Common/Rare bees works. Prioritize Bumble Bee and Rad Bee for early gather speed.

Phase 2: 10–15 Bees

1. Unlock Science Bear (10 bees) — the Blender is essential for materials.
2. Unlock Mother Bear (5 bees) for treat rewards.
3. Start saving for Porcelain Dipper and Mountain Top Shop gear:
   • Beekeeper Mask → Beekeeper Boots → Mondo Belt Bag
4. Begin Tabby Bee quest (50 Tabby Love) — start early, it takes weeks.

Phase 3: 15–25 Bees (Best Early Game Hive)

At this stage, your best early game hive should focus on:

1. Tabby Bee (in progress) — best long-term DPS
2. Photon Bee — unlimited energy for gathering
3. 1–2 Music Bees — Melody buff scales with hive
4. Fill remaining slots — cheap Epic bees from Royal Jelly

Do NOT commit to Red/Blue/White yet — stay mixed/colorless until you have 30+ bees and an SSA plan. See Best Hive Comparison.

Gear Order (Early Game)

1. Porcelain Dipper
2. Hive slots to 25 (unlock Panda/Polar Bear)
3. Porcelain Port-O-Hive
4. Honey Mask (first mask)

Quest Priority

1. Black Bear (always)
2. Mother Bear + Science Bear
3. Polar Bear + Panda Bear at 15 bees
4. Save Riley/Bucko for after Translator at 25 bees

Mistakes to Avoid

• Spending tickets on random eggs before saving for Tabby / Photon.
• Buying expensive hive slots before Porcelain gear.
• Gifting Star Treats before you have event bees.
