How to Unlock Trading in Bee Swarm Simulator

Trading lets you exchange Stickers, Beequips, and Cub Buddy Skins with other players. It was re-enabled in late 2025; you can trade on any server or meet others in the Hive Hub.

Unlock Requirements (All Required)

Per the official Trading wiki, you need all four:

1. 20 bees in your hive.
2. Playtime Cadet Badge — 8 hours of total playtime.
3. Ability Cadet Badge — collect 2,500 ability tokens.
4. Battle Hotshot Badge — earn 1,000 battle points from defeating mobs.

Once all four are met, trading unlocks automatically. If a player has not unlocked trading, the game shows: "[Player] has not unlocked trading (Requires Playtime Cadet, Ability Cadet, and Battle Hotshot Badges)".

How to Trade

1. Open the System menu (gear icon) and use Send Trade Request, or visit another player's hive.
2. The other player must accept. Only one trade at a time per player.
3. Add items to your offer. Both players press Accept.
4. Wait 5–20 seconds (depends on total trade value) for the trade to finalize.

Toggle Allow Trade Requests in System settings if you do not want incoming requests.

What You Can Trade

• Cub Buddy Skins

You cannot trade bees, eggs, honey, tickets, materials, amulets, or hive slots.

Hive Hub (Optional Meeting Place)

The Hive Hub is past the Ant Gate (Hive Hub Portal). It is a dedicated trading area with 36 claimable hives, a Public Sticker Board, and the Hub Field. You do not need extra requirements beyond unlocked trading to use it.

Tips for Safe Trading

• Research current sticker/Beequip values before accepting.
• Use a private server with trusted friends when possible.
• Trades are permanent — double-check before confirming.

Why Trading Won't Unlock

• Missing one of the three badges (playtime, ability tokens, or battle points).
• Trade requests disabled in your System settings.
