How the Blender works

The Blender is inside the Badge Bearer's Guild and crafts one item type at a time, 5 minutes per item while you are in-game (24 hours offline with an Offline Voucher).
You can speed a batch up with tickets — 1 ticket per item in the batch (Gumdrops and Moon Charms are 10 items per ticket).
Ending a craft early returns unfinished ingredients, so it is safe to queue big batches.
Royal Jelly is the real cost of waxes: Swirled Wax alone needs 3,333 and Caustic Wax 5,252 on top of everything inside them.

Tips

Craft Soft Wax in bulk. It is inside Hard, Swirled and Caustic Wax, and the Field Dice line, so a stockpile never goes to waste.
Plant for Swirled and Caustic. A Plastic Planter in the Coconut Field, a Candy Planter in the Cactus Field or a Red Clay Planter in the Sunflower Field each guarantee a Swirled Wax a month; several planters guarantee a monthly Caustic. See the Wax Farming guide.
Buy Gumdrops with tickets. Glue needs 50 Gumdrops; at 3 per ticket that is 17 tickets instead of 450 fruit.
Budget by attempts, not by waxes. A Caustic Wax works 25% of the time, so plan for four attempts per success — the Wax Calculator gives the exact odds.

How much does Caustic Wax cost to craft?

Caustic Wax is 5 Hard Wax, 5 Enzymes, 25 Neonberries and 5,252 Royal Jelly. Fully expanded that is about 6,067 Royal Jelly (roughly 6.07B honey at shop prices) plus 75 Honeysuckle, 750 Sunflower Seeds, 1,750 Pineapples, 165 Bitterberries and 25 Neonberries.

Is it cheaper to farm wax with planters than to craft it?

Usually yes for Soft and Hard Wax, which drop often from planters and the Pumpkin Patch. Swirled and Caustic Wax have guaranteed monthly planter sources (see the Wax Farming guide), so crafting is for when you need them faster than planters deliver.
