How Do You Get Cogs in Bee Swarm Simulator?

There are two related systems: Cogs (temporary challenge currency) and Cog Amulets (permanent rewards from Robo Bear Challenge rounds).

Cogs (Robo Bear Challenge Currency)

Cogs are earned only during Robo Bear's Challenge and removed when the run ends. They are not a permanent inventory material.

How to Earn Cogs

• Start a challenge with a Robo Pass — you get 10 Cogs immediately.
• Complete quests inside the challenge (harder quests = more Cogs).
• Bonus Cogs for finishing a quest within the first 2 minutes.
• Some in-challenge shop upgrades grant bonus Cogs.

What Cogs Buy (During a Run)

• Drives from Robo Bear's Shop (50 Cogs + Honey per colored drive)
• Challenge upgrades and bee rerolls
• Other temporary Robo Challenge boosts

Robo Cub Unlock

Collect 250,000 Cogs total (lifetime across all runs) to unlock the Robo Cub Cub Buddy skin.

Cog Amulets (Permanent Rewards)

Cog Amulets are earned by reaching high rounds in Robo Bear's Challenge — not by crafting with Cogs at a station.

• Bronze Cog Amulet (round 10+) — base stats
• Silver Cog Amulet (round 12+) — better stats
• Gold Cog Amulet (round 15+) — unlocks Glitched Drive purchases in shop
• Diamond Cog Amulet (round 20+) — unlocks Digital Bee egg in Robo Bear's Shop
• Supreme Cog Amulet (round 25+, once) — top-tier amulet

Amulet stats scale with total Cogs collected during that run.

Getting Started

1. Repair Robo Bear with four Drives (see How to Get Drives).
2. Use a Robo Pass at Robo Bear to start a challenge.
3. Farm Cogs → buy Drives/upgrades → push higher rounds for better amulets.

Cogs from Bubble Bee Man quests can also appear outside challenges (rare).
